Commercial Kitchen Extract & Fresh Air Input Ductwork

As well as offering kitchen ventilation canopies, we can also provide a full design, manufacture and installation service for  complete kitchen ventilation systems, including fans and ductwork.

Our ducting is manufactured to BESA TR19 Specification DW/144 and as standard, we include more than enough access panels so it can be easily cleaned and maintained by your specialist cleaning contractors. Grease that has been extracted through a kitchen extract canopy and has then settled in the extract ducting is a potential fire hazard as a spark can easily travel through into the extract system and cause it to set alight, so it is imperative that ducting runs house enough access panels for easy cleaning.

Our extract ductwork can be manufactured using galvanised mild steel for a cost-effective solution and alternatively, if it is to be made a prominent feature in your building design, we can powder coat it to your colour specification or manufacture the exposed faces using stainless steel for a more aesthetically-pleasing finish.

For fresh air input ductwork, this can either be manufactured using stainless steel or. for an economical alternative, we can also offer spiral wound ductwork, which is particularly cost-effective when a long run is required.

Depending on the building design, it may be necessary to install a run of fire-rated ductwork to further minimise the risk of any potential duct fires spreading. Rest assured, this is something we can help you with as our engineers are trained in the manufacture and installation of Firemac fire-rated ductwork.
