We will:

• Optimising material usage to minimise offcuts and scrap
• Increasing the use of recycled and recyclable metals where feasible

Waste Management

• Applying the waste hierarchy: reduce, reuse, recycle
• Segregating metal waste for recycling
• Recycling packaging materials such as cardboard and plastics

Practical Sustainability Actions
• Introducing electric and/or hybrid vehicles into the company fleet to reduce emissions
• Planning routes efficiently to minimise fuel consumption
• Using public transport where appropriate
• Utilise Microsoft Teams where possible to minimise travel.
• Using suppliers who prioritise sustainability, such as a milk delivery service using reusable glass bottles
• Encouraging paper reduction through digital documentation and communication
• Promoting responsible energy use such as switching off equipment when not in use
Pollution Prevention
We will:
• Control emissions from fabrication processes (e.g. welding fumes, dust)
• Maintain equipment to reduce leaks, spills, and contamination
• Safely store and handle oils, chemicals, and hazardous materials
• Reduce noise pollution where practicable
Sustainable Product Design
As kitchen ventilation specialists, we will:
• Design energy-efficient ventilation systems
• Promote products that improve indoor air quality and reduce energy use

Implementation
This policy will be implemented and reviewed as part of our 6 monthly Management Review Meetings for ISO 9001.

We will:
• Communicate our environmental commitments and policy internally and externally through our website and social media where appropriate to do so.
Responsibility
Senior management is responsible for ensuring this policy is implemented and maintained. All employees are expected to support and adhere to its principles.
Review
This policy will be reviewed annually or when significant changes occur in operations or legislation.
