Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Did you know that we offer Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contracts for your kitchen ventilation system?
We all know that prevention is better than the cure and our aim is to help you try and prevent issues before they escalate into larger problems, therefore saving you both time and money. As kitchen ventilation systems have to follow regulations in terms of fumes etc. our quarterly service checks will ensure that your extract and fresh air input systems are working efficiently and are being adequately maintained. We can also offer advice to your operatives with regards to cleaning and maintenance to help prevent any components of your kitchen ventilation system from failing.
We recommend annual Planned Preventative Maintenance contracts, which can consist of as many or as fewer service visits as your ventilation system requires. On each visit, we will conduct the following checks:
- Check the seals of the extract canopy and ductwork
- Change the air filters on your fresh air input system (if applicable)
- Check the fans, speed controllers and gas interlock panel are running as they should, including making sure any emergency stop buttons (if applicable) are still in good working order
- Advise on any improvements operatives can make with regards to cleaning and maintaining the system to maintain its efficiency
- Check the kitchen canopy lights are all working
- Check the baffle grease extract filters are all present and in good condition
- Check all the grease boxes are all present
- Check any specialist systems, such as odour control, UV, tempered air input etc. are still in good working order
- Ask the kitchen personnel if they have any operating problems
We can provide you with a quotation for an annual Planned Preventative Maintenance contract on your kitchen ventilation system and unlike other PPM providers, we don’t include for replacement items in our service cost that you might not need; we will seek your authorisation before carrying out any repairs which will incur additional costs.
Don't have one of our kitchen ventilation systems installed? No worries! Trivent Ltd was established in 1980 and since then, we have come across a copious amount of systems that have needed an upgrade to bring them up to meet the industry requirements of BESA Specification DW/172. Get in touch and one of our skilled engineers will come out to site to produce an initial report on your system.
