Welcome to the Three Amigos!

It's that time of year again, when we welcome another unsuspecting bunch of young people into the fold!

This year we are delighted to say that we have employed not one, not two but three new apprentices; from left to right, Alister is working in the office and out on site as an Apprentice Project Engineer, Finley joins us in the workshop as an Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker, and Conner works out on site as an Apprentice Fitter.

Historically, we have always employed apprentices due to the fact that our products and systems are very bespoke and it's always been difficult to employ people with all the skills that we need. However, this is becoming more important than ever as we are now finding that there is such a skills gap, that setting on apprentices and training up young people to the level that we need is a necessity if we want the Company to continue to grow.

All three are settling in nicely, and have survived their boring initiation of peeling off the plastic backing from finished workpieces relatively unscathed! Let's just hope that nobody tells them about our tradition of our apprentices singing us a song on the day we break up for our Christmas holidays...!

😉
