Energy Efficiency

We are continuously looking at energy efficient products we can offer you to help save you money with your running costs.

Wherever possible, we use fans with EC motors which combine AC and DC voltages for optimal performance. They run on DC voltage with a normal AC supply, allowing for intelligent speed control to reduce energy consumption.

Benefits of EC Motors

• Lower power usage & more efficient than AC equivalent.
• Fully adjustable speed control, not affected by frequency. Can be configured for steady airflow or pressure, with 0-10VDC or PWM control signal.
• Keep motor temperature low to ensure longer lifetime compared to AC equivalents
• The motor has fully integrated electronic and power transformation
• You can drive the speed up to 3600rpm with just one EC fan, replacing multiple types of motors (2, 4, and 6 pole)
• No complicated wiring and set-up with a Frequency Controller, EC fans have very little configuration.

Wherever possible, we also try to use fans which are not belt driven, as these have proven to be less efficient than direct driven fans.

We also use low voltage LED lighting as standard in all of our canopies, which not only provides the perfect level of brightness, but also helps to keep your energy bills down.
