Fire Suppression Systems

Fire suppression systems are mechanical devices and require periodic care.

Maintenance is a vital step in the performance of any Ansul R-102 Fire Suppression System.

It must be performed in accordance with NFPA 96 (Standard for the Installation of Equipment for the Removal of Smoke and Grease-Laden Vapours from Commercial Cooking Equipment) and NFPA 17A (Standard on Wet Chemical Extinguishing Systems) by an authorised Ansul distributor.

To provide maximum assurance that the fire suppression system will operate effectively and safely, maintenance must be conducted at six-month intervals, or earlier if the situation dictates.

Recharge and Resetting:

For continued fire protection, the R-102 restaurant fire suppression system must be recharged immediately after discharge.
